Oil Change Giveaway

I recently made a trip to Jiffy Lube and thanks to my $35 giftcard from Shell Lubricants and MotorOilMatters.org and the information thru MyBlogSpark I only paid $5.00 out of pocket. The total for my big truck was actually $45 but I found a $5 coupon on Jiffy's website.
http://www.jiffylube.com/specialpromos/specialpromotions.aspx

I love working on my truck, I can change my brakes, spark plugs, alternator, radiator, a flat tire and believe me my truck has some heavy tires. :) but when it comes to changing the oil, I know how but I prefer not to. I also visited MotorOilMatters.org and realized that I know some about vehicles but I also had some wrong answers on the M.O.M game. But I learned some new helpful information as well.

And you can win a complimentary $35 Jiffy Lube gift card thanks to Shell Lubricants and MotorOilMatters.org and MyBlogSpark. Simply leave a comment in regards to one of the following or all of them :)

*What you found most interesting on the Motor Oil Matters site
*What motor oil misconception did you have that was put to rest through the site’s info?
*What your score was on the M.O.M. Knows Best game

One entry per email, all duplicates will be deleted. This game is only open to U.S. residents. The winner will be chosen by random.org on Wednesday Nov 18th at 12 noon CST. One entry per person, please leave your email address if not in your blogger profile. The winner will have 24 hrs to repsond to my email or another winner will be chosen. Good Luck!

What did I learn?
Full synthetic motor oils typically outperform conventional and synthetic blend motor oils in nearly all aspects of engine protection.
(Which means I can no longer dog my husband about his use of the more expensive synthetics!)

I looked up quite a bit of that stuff and was totally stumped by the W in the motor oil name or types and found out that it stands for WINTER and not Weight, like most people think it means. I didn't even know there was a difference of oil between seasons! ACK! I guess it makes sense, though, I just can't believe I didn't know until now! Thanks for the giveaway!
